We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer for a contract opportunity with our client in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Working with a professional and established team in the health services industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing versatile administrative support to this department.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Answering inquiries and directing phone calls
  • Assisting in the preparation of formal documents and correspondence
  • Booking appointments and liaising with other departments to coordinate schedule requests
  • Data entry of billing information
  • Interacting with patients and visitors to the department
  • Other duties as required

 Requirements: 

  • Post-secondary education in office administration, medical administration, or business
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar administrative position, preferably in a medical environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and professional communication skills
  • Solid team player who enjoys interacting and building relationships with others
