Our client is currently seeking a Legal Administrator for their location in Halifax. This is a contract opportunity for approximately 2-4 weeks.
As a member of a small legal team, you will be responsible for a variety of legal and administrative support functions. Primary duties will include:
- Reception coverage
- Managing case files
- Typing and proofreading correspondence
- Preparing legal documentation including copying and binding
- Other administrative tasks as required
As the ideal candidate, you have completed a post-secondary education and gained a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is required, along with a strong work ethic and ability to take initiative. As a highly organized individual, you display excellent problem resolution skills combined with superior interpersonal and communication abilities. Additionally, you possess a positive attitude and are passionate about providing above-average client service. A proficiency in Microsoft Office is required for this role.
